Betsey Wynne
Surrounded by patios, manicured gardens and 1,300 acres of farmland, The Betsey Wynne in Swanbourne re-opened its doors in 2017. Named after the Swanbourne Estate’s 18th century owner, this traditional home farm venue has become a prominent destination in the village thanks to its striking views, 100-seat restaurant, and extensive bar and lounge area.
This pub opens at 9am every day, making it the perfect pub stop as not only do you not need to cook dinner, you can also pop in for breakfast to avoid washing up in the van.
A gorgeous up market establishment which oozes character with its wooden beams and exposed brickwork. It is not only dog friendly - we would consider this place as being dog loving. Our two girls were well and truly fussed when we popped into the pub in the morning and were given a sausage each.
With a large flat carpark, which is segregated into nooks and Crannies, it is easy to find a suitable space to stay overnight. Behind the carpark is a large field for exercising the dogs.
